Twelve South’s 3-in-1 MagSafe stand is here! HiRise 3 Review! The versatility that can be used with USB PD 20W is good!

Where do you charge your iPhone, wireless earphones, and Apple Watch? Is it a desk? Is it near the living room outlet?

In my home, I mainly put it on the side table next to the bed. The sofa side table of Sanwa Supply below can have a built-in USB charger, so I use Anker’s “PowerPort I PD-1 PD & 4 Power IQ”.

However, my wife and I have one iPhone, one Apple Watch, and one completely wireless earphone, so there are a total of six. Recently, the number of portable electric fans and audio glasses has increased, and the table is flooded with cables and devices.

Belkin’s BOOST ↑ CHARGE PRO 3-in-1 It’s been a little better since the wireless charger came, but I still feel it’s messy.

I should buy another one, but it’s not fun to buy the same one, and I didn’t want to buy a product with a suspicious product warranty or a suspicious product like the cheap wireless charger that is overflowing on Amazon, so for a while It was in a waiting state.

Review Twelve South HiRise 3

Twelve South is a long-established manufacturer of peripherals for Mac and iPhone. Since the Apple Store also handles a large number of the company’s products, I think you can see how high the quality is.

The 3-in-1 desktop charging stand from Twelve South is the “HiRise 3 Wireless Charging Stand”. The box is reasonably large …

The HiRise 3 Wireless Charging Stand is available in white and black color variations. This time I will review White.

The distributor of Twelve South products in Japan is Focal Point Computer Co., Ltd. Rakuten Ichiba and Yahoo! Shopping have the company’s official direct sales store, so we recommend purchasing there. The above link also links to the company’s sales page.

The contents are the owner’s guide, HiRise3 main unit, and USB-C cable. The charger is not included and must be prepared separately.

HiRise3 is a simple and elegant design composed of white and gray. As expected, Twelve South products!

The single pillar that supports the stand is made of metal, and the stand on which the device is placed has a non-slip silicone finish.

The slope at the top of the stand can be adsorbed with MagSafe, and power can be supplied at a maximum of 10W. If you bring a compatible iPhone or MagSafe compatible case close to it, it will stick together. (Portrait or landscape)

The upper part has a ring-shaped bulge.

This is a wireless charging stand (3W) for Apple Watch. It supports from the original Apple Watch to SE and the latest Series 7.

Then there is the Twelve South logo on the base, which is a guideline for 5W wireless charging.

You can charge from a completely wireless earphone like AirPods Pro to your smartphone. The LED lights blue when power is supplied.

The bottom is anti-slip processed in 4 places. There is a protective sticker on it, so be sure to remove it. I put it on the table without peeling it off and felt “It’s slippery and unstable …?”

The power of HiRise 3 Wireless Charging Stand can be supplied by USB PD 20W!

This time, the appeal of the HiRise 3 Wireless Charging Stand is that it can use a USB PD as its power source. Belkin’s 3-in-1 wireless charging stand was a dedicated AC adapter, so there were restrictions on how it could be handled.

There’s a USB-C port on the back of the base of the HiRise 3 Wireless Charging Stand.

A USB-C cable is included, but you’ll need to prepare your own USB-AC adapter. I tried using Anker’s ultra-compact adapter PowerPort III Nano 20W.

I tried charging iPhone 13 Pro Max, Apple Watch, and AirPods Pro at the same time.

The HiRise 3 Wireless Charging Stand was slim and almost the same as the iPhone 13 Pro Max with the case.

The Apple Watch is completely hidden. It may not be enough for those who used the nightstand mode.

The competition for Twelve South HiRise 3 is still Belkin products

The direct competitor to the HiRise 3 Wireless Charging Stand (center photo) is Belkin’s BOOST ↑ CHARGE ™ PRO MagSafe 3-in-1 Wireless Charger (right photo). For reference, I also arranged Anker’s PowerWave 2-in-1 Magnetic stand (left photo).

Belkin’s BOOST ↑ CHARGE ™ PRO MagSafe 3-in-1 Wireless Charger has a size that uses space luxuriously as you can see in the picture.

However, because it uses a dedicated AC adapter, you can quickly charge your iPhone 12 or later with MagSafe charging (15W). This is different from the HiRise 3 Wireless Charging Stand.

It will be a comparison between fast-charging Belkin and slim Twelve South. As you can see in the picture below, the HiRise 3 Wireless Charging Stand is overwhelmingly space-saving due to its small bottom surface.

Compared to Anker’s PowerWave 2-in-1 Magnetic Stand, the HiRise 3 Wireless Charging Stand is slimmer.

If you don’t need to charge your Apple Watch, Anker’s PowerWave 2-in-1 Magnetic stand is reasonably priced and recommended.

Summary of Twelve South HiRise 3 Wireless Charging Stand

The 3-in-1 wireless charging stand is convenient, isn’t it? You only need one cable and one charger, and if you put them together here, they’re all charged while you’re sleeping, so you can just remove them in the morning and take them out.

The HiRise 3 Wireless Charging Stand introduced this time is slim and compact, and you can choose a USB-AC adapter, so you can install it more freely. I want to combine the charging environment into one! It is a recommended product that is perfect for those who say!
